Ugh
I spent most of yesterday afternoon in the emergency room, getting a series of comically-larger injections into my arm, buttocks, and right leg. All of this because of a fucking dog. All of this because that fucking dog has a very small chance of having rabies. And that very small chance is enough to get one paranoid enough to worry about catching rabies from that fucking dog. And – as my doctor told me – even though the chance is small, there aren’t too many people in this world who have caught rabies and survived.
So thus begins my journey of antibiotics and at least 3 more follow-ups at the emergency room over the next month. I know I’m supposed to be writing about music and whatnot, but my mind is focused elsewhere. My health is a lot more important than a Patrick Wolk freakout or some stupid, new Radiohead song.
But I’ll see how I feel tomorrow.
