Your Weekend Holiday – Johnny Appleseed Day
Due to a scorching case of herpes, Johnny symbolically planted his seeds.
Today is Johnny Appleseed’s birthday, hence it’s also Johnny Appleseed Day. This cat walked all over the country with a pot on his head and planted apple trees. He was a poor man and didn’t like to accept charity. Some people said he didn’t have a pot-to-piss-in but upon seeing Mr. Appleseed, were proven wrong.
I was surprised to find two appropriate songs regarding Johnny Appleseed but after hearing Guided By Voices’ “Johnny Appleseed” (it’s god-awful) there was only one obvious choice.
