The Worst Music I’ve Heard So Far This Century, Part 2
I was driving home yesterday and tuned into a conversation on NPR about Bob Dylan’s new holiday release, Christmas In The Heart (this link will take you to Amazon where you can hear samples of all the horrid songs). The album came out a few days ago with little hoopla and, according to NPR, the jury is still out on whether or not it’s some kind of odd joke.
You can read a full review from The Independent’s website here.
I’ve never cared for Dylan. I understand he’s suppose to be one of the greatest artists of our time but I still think he sucks and yes, I’ve heard Blood on the Tracks.

The proceeds from the album go to charity. That’s a nice gesture but, unfortunately, I don’t think the charities are going to get much money.
Tyge also blogs at The Neon Lounge.

[A quick note from Carl: You can also listen to the whole album by scrolling to the bottom of this review on PopMatters. It didn't raise my ire like it did with Tyge - I just think it's bland (except for "Must Be Santa", which is awesomely insane).]
