Your Weekend Holiday – National Bring Your Teddy Bear To Work Day

Today is National Bring Your Teddy Bear To Work Day. Or maybe it’s tomorrow… my schedule is out-of-wack due to my travels through different time zones, along with large amounts off alcohol. But hey, it’s already tomorrow in Australia, so that’ll work for me. Either way it’s the weekend, so enjoy it.
Anyone who has ever watched M*A*S*H will remember Radar O’Reilly and his teddy bear. Radar brought his bear to work with him… his work being a near entire tour-of-duty during the Korean War.
Being a teddy bear parent myself, I’ll always remember the episode when Radar finally departs the 4077th and leaves his little buddy on Alan Alda’s bunk. *sniff*
I will not exploit my teddy bear for this post but promise to include a photo of him in the near future. Although these days he sits in the corner of my bedroom, he’s been with me my entire life and for that reason, and with this post, I request he be buried/cremated with me when I die.

Mr. Teddy is enjoying the weather in Music City… he’s also keeping a vigilant eye on my Mother’s cat.
